A noble & simple design and high-quality workmanship are very important to us. However, our idea of appreciation begins with the materials, which are selected according to fair and sustainable criteria. With the production in our own workshop and the internal customer service, we consistently continue and implement this philosophy.
The basis of our mouse pads and desk pads are high-quality materials. Wool felt and cork are 100% biodegradable, and the adhesive between the layers is low-odor and solvent-free.
We manufacture your felt-cork underlay in our own workshop in Trier with a computer-controlled precise cutting machine. Thanks to the very clean cut edges, the underlay gives your desk an even more high-quality look.
Before shipping, the base gets the final touches. After 2-3 working days it will arrive at your home lovingly packaged. Our grass paper packaging conserves resources and is plastic-free.
Almost as comfortable as in the living room
Not too warm and not too cold. Felt is always at the right temperature and feels very comfortable on the wrists. Especially in winter but also in summer you benefit from this natural property.

Felt and cork absorb noise. This makes typing on the keyboard and movements with the mouse sound much more muffled.

The cork layer makes all documents, mouse pads and coasters non-slip. The two-layer style also looks particularly elegant and high-quality.
The wool for our felt comes from sheep in New Zealand and Australia. The wool is mulesing-free. Mulesing is a controversial process that is unfortunately still practiced in Australia, but only with Merino sheep. The Australian wool from our German felt producer is 100% Merino wool free. This creates a mixture of New Zealand Merino wool and Australian non-Merino wool, which also has an impact on the particularly good and consistent quality of our felt. It is even, stable and pleasant to the touch.
Cork, the good mood material from Portugal
Cork has a uniquely pleasant feel. The harvest is good for our environment and the people who grow cork trees. Cork oak forests are particularly sustainable biotopes with diverse flora and fauna. The tree forms new bark every 9-11 years. A cork oak that is harvested binds 3 times as much CO₂ as one that is not harvested. Harvesting is a Portuguese tradition that can only be done by hand. It guarantees forest owners a secure and well-paid existence.

Wool feltand organic cottonas well as the yarn are 100% biodegradable. So cut it small and put it in the garden compost is no problem.
However, please remove the label beforehand and dispose of it in the residual waste. This consists of a cellulose-latex mixture and is only 80% biodegradable.
Our goal is 100% degradability. We are sticking with it and looking for appropriate alternatives for our label.
