Each door stop is carefully sewn and filled by hand in our workshop. Thanks to the careful selection of materials and workmanship, the door stop is durable, robust and aesthetically pleasing.
Application: Simply place in front of doors, windows or cupboards - ideal for interiors.
Care instructions: Light dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth. If necessary, clean separately on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use harsh cleaning agents.

Here you can see at a glance how our sustainable Smukbird doorstop is made. At the top left there are colorful fabric and felt leftovers from our production, which we use as filling material. To the right of it you will find various leftover materials and a cork element, which will later form the outer shell. At the bottom left you can see river pebbles from the Rhine - they give the doorstop its weight. And finally, the finished doorstop is presented at the bottom right - a unique, handmade piece made from materials that would otherwise have remained unused. This picture shows you directly how we at Smukbird work to conserve resources and reuse waste sensibly.

We produce the doorstop in our workshop in Germany | Trier.
Our doorstop is made exclusively from carefully selected, sustainable materials from Europe. The felt comes from Germany, the cork from Portugal, the river pebbles directly from the Rhine and the cotton from Poland. Through this regional material selection, we reduce transport routes and support local markets - a further step towards resource-saving and environmentally friendly production.
Yes, our doorstop is completely geared towards sustainability. We only use leftover materials and excess materials that arise from the manufacture of other products. By reusing existing resources, we reduce waste and conserve valuable resources. We also pay attention to short transport routes in order to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. With every purchase you make a contribution to environmental protection and responsible production.
